The Toronto Pearson Hockey team competes yearly in the Southern Ontario Firefighters Hockey League.

The team enjoyed their most successful regular season in 2005/-06 season winning their division for the first time since a team was put together six years ago. They finished the season with 16 wins and only 3 losses.  The team is competing against much bigger departments such as Toronto , Brampton and Mississauga amongst others within Southern Ontario . This is a huge accomplishment considering that Pearson FD only has about 60-70 potential players to draw from. The good showing this year was in large part due to a total team effort and the return of veteran goaltender, Les Dupuis, who missed the entire last season due to injury and Departmental commitments.  Les ended up with the best goals against average in the entire league.

The team also competed in the Southern Ontario Fire Fighting Hockey League Tournament this past March.  After a long week and five games, they unfortunately lost to Scarborough FD in the “C” division finals.
