Already recognized for their innovative fundraising ideas, the members of PAPFFA have collaborated their creative efforts to create Firehall Favorites, a cookbook packed full of authentic PAPFFA recipes.

The book includes chapters on appetizers, soups, main dishes, pasta, seafood, vegetables and desserts. In keeping with today’s trend of healthy alternatives, there is also a selection of protein shakes and vegetarian recipes. The cookbook serves a dual purpose, with the second to promote both fire safety and the role the Emergency Service Division plays in the day to day operation of the airport.

A portion of the money raised from the sale of the cookbooks will be donated to the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada. The Children’s Wish is a national organization, dedicated to providing once in a lifetime experiences for children diagnosed with high-risk, life threatening illnesses.

The proceeds remaining from the sale of each cookbook will be used to support the Pearson Airport Fire Department Combat Team, Toronto Pearson Auto Extrication Team and Pearson Airport Fire Department Hockey Team.
